Providing valuable tips to crack the medical entrance examination ‘NEET’, Anita Wankhede, Director of Wankhede Madam’s Academy, near Aath Rasta Square, Laxmi Nagar said, “Students should remember that there are no shortcuts to success. Hard work, focused approach and consistency in studying are some of the ways to pass the medical entrance examination”.
Wankhede further said that the students must be self motivated, confident and have that burning desire within their minds to become a doctor. They must be mentally prepared to put in extra hours, dedicate time towards learning and reading for atleast six hours every day. Students should be ready to put in tremendous efforts then they will have a better chance of passing the NEET entrance examination. “At our academy students are selected through an entrance examination. We evaluate all the students and tell them if they have the desired caliber to crack NEET exam,” she said.

Her husband Narendra Wankhede who was a senior engineer at MSEB resigned from his job to join her and manage the academy. At present he is Director of the Academy and both work together as a closely knitted team.

Today the academy boasts of having the highest rate of admissions to MBBS colleges from Nagpur. About 50 per cent of the students in a batch take admissions in medical colleges.
