AS MANY as 3 Naxalites were killed in an encounter that took place between the police and the outlaws in Kedwara forest area on Sunday evening. According to police, a credible information was received that Perimili andAheri Dalam is camping in forest area of Kedmara between Mane Rajaram and Perimili armed outpost. Based on the information, two C 60 parties were despatched from Pranhita to conduct search operation in the jungle area. While the search operation was going on, the parties were fired upon by the naxals and there was exchange of fire at the location at around 7 pm. After the exchange of fire, police started search of the area and during the search operation three naxal male bodies were recovered along with weapons and other materials.

 

Primary information reveals that one of the dead bodiesof Bitlu Madavi, commander of Perimili Dalam and other two bodies are of Vasu of Perimili Dalam and Srikant of Aheri Dalam. Prelimnary information is that Vasu was promoted to the rank of DVCM in 2023 of Perimili LOS and Srikant as Dy. Commander of Aheri LOS which is being verified. Bitlu Madavi was prime accused in murder of student Sainath Narote that took place on 9th March this year along with two incidents of arson of road construction equipment’s at Visamundi and Alenga villages in February- March this year. Anti Naxal operations have been intensified in the area and further search operation is going on.
