An important meeting was organised on Tuesday to discuss the upcoming camps under Mukhya Mantri Jan Seva Abhiyan 2.0. Rinku Vij, Chairperson of Jabalpur Municipal Corporation (JMC) chaired the meeting and informed that these camps will be conducted from May 10 to May 31 across the State, in accordance with the Government’s directive.
The Chairperson informed that ward-wise camps in the city would be organised from May 16 to May 25. During the meeting, the Chairperson stressed on the need to publicise these camps widely within the municipal limits so that people could benefit from the 67 identified services. He urged the officers and employees present at the meeting to ensure that all beneficiaries should take advantage of the campaign by making important information readily available to them.
The Chairperson directed that the ward-wise camps will focus on two categories of applications i.e. the applications already received and pending applications, as well as newly received applications. The JMC Chairperson gave specific instructions to dispose of these applications within the time limit and ensure that the camps are organised efficiently.
To ensure public convenience, the divisional officers were directed to make arrangements for necessary tents, chairs, drinking water and other essential amenities at the camps. The Chairperson asked the officials to take essential steps towards ensuring that the Mukhya Mantri Jan Seva Abhiyan 2.0 is a success and emphasised on making the these camps accessible to all residents within the municipal limits.
