Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has rescheduled the timetable of its Summer 2023 examinations. The Under Graduate (UG) examinations were to begin from May 15 and Post Graduate from May 22. Now, the examination for UG will start on May 22, while that for PG will begin on May 29.
The UG examinations include BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BCCA, BCA, B.Voc, BPE, B.Ed, BSW, B.Ed, B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharm. The PG examinations include MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MCA, MBA, M.Ed, MSW, M.Pharm, M.Tech, ME, M.Arch, B.Des. University has displayed revised timetable of 413 examinations of the total 947. The examinations will be held at 133 examination centres of four districts - Bhandara, Gondia, Wardha and Nagpur. A special workshop will be held for the centre heads on May 19 to guide them on measures to be taken while conducting examinations, to avoid any mistake or loophole in the process. Every examination centre will have a Supervisor and to prevent untoward incidents, 8 flying squads, two special flying squads and a women’s flying squad have been kept ready.
RTMNU has appealed to all the college principals to provide the required facilities to students during their examinations. The University has prepared question papers for 90% of the examinations.
Students will get their admit cards through their colleges. In case students face any difficulty during the examinations, they can call Assistant Registrar of Examination Department Dhanusingh Pawar on 7798135859 and Nitin Kadbe on 9421696553. Students can also call RTMNU employees whose names and mobile numbers will be available at the respective centres. There will be 1,07,000 students appearing for final UG examinations while 23,000 students will write final PG examinations. There are 23 divyang students who will be given special facilities as per the guidelines of the Maharashtra Government. RTMNU is trying to get examination over as early as possible and declare results immediately, said Dr Praful Sable, Director of Board of Examinations and Evaluation.
