STAR Wrestling Academy Nagpur, Deputy Director Sports and Youth Services Nagpur Division and District Sports Office have organised summer wrestling training camp at the indoor hall of Divisional Sports Complex in Mankapur.

The camp was inaugurated by Pallavi Dhatrak, District Sports Officer. In order to revive the sport of wrestling and to promote wrestling in Nagpur and Vidarbha, Star Wrestling Academy has organised the camp.

 

Samiksha Koche was honoured with a wrestling honorarium cheque of Rs 36,000 on the occasion. National players Parshita Jambhulkar, Anjali Gajbhiye, Vashita Koche, Kartik Bhande, Yash Kotangale, Ashish Varade and others are participating in the camp. Sangita Gire, Deepak Gire, Anil Borawar, Aruna Gandhe Darshana Yewatikar and others were present during the opening ceremony. The programme was conducted by Nilesh Raut, Secretary Star Academy while Dilip Itankar made introductory remarks. Dr Chandrasekhar Game proposed a vote of thanks.

The camp will continue for two months and players can enroll themselves.
