CP detains seasoned goon under MPDA

 

 

COMMISSIONER OF Police Amitesh Kumar detained hardcore criminal Abhijeet alias Madi Nitin Nitnawre under the Maharashtra Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Slumlords, Bootleggers, Drug-offenders, Dangerous Persons, Video Pirates, Sand Smugglers and Persons Engaged in Black-Marketing of Essential Commodities Act (MPDA), on Thursday.

 

A resident of Plot No 20, Bezonbagh, Gautam Nagar, Jaripatka, Nitnawre (23) was involved in several crimes of serious nature. With a string of offences registered against him at Jaripatka, Sadar, Mankapur, Ambazari, Yashodhara Nagar, Kapil Nagar and Khaperkheda, he was externed from Jaripatka Police.

Even preventive action was initiated against him. However, he continued indulging in anti-social activities. Finally, the City Police Chief issued his detention orders under MPDA and kept him in Central Jail. Nitnawre would soon be shifted to Nashik Jail.
