The Jabalpur Municipal Corporation (JMC) has once again emerged victorious in the State-level grading of CM Helpline, surpassing cities like Bhopal, Indore and Gwalior to secure the top rank in the State. Municipal Commissioner Swapnil Wankhade expressed satisfaction in achieving first-place ranking with a score of 97.99 percent, attributed to the successful resolution of a majority of complaints received through the CM helpline.
Municipal Commissioner Wankhade extended congratulations to diligent efforts of the entire team, including officers and employees for their dedicated work leading to the accomplishment. He informed that out of the total 2497 complaints, about 58.46 per cent have been resolved to the satisfaction of complainants after engaging in discussions with them. He said the JMC has set a remarkable record at the state level by receiving an ‘A’ grade, securing the top rank in the grading list issued by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
Providing further details, Wankhade explained that the Government issues monthly gradings for the Municipal Corporation's activities. In the grading for April 2023, Jabalpur received an ‘A’ grade and claimed the first position among all Municipal Corporations in the State. The achievement marks the second time since April that the Jabalpur Municipal Corporation has attained a score of 97.99 points based on weightage, having previously secured the first position in the February 2023 grading with a score of 96.76 points. The success holds great importance for the Municipal Corporation.
He stressed that the effective resolution of all complaints was made possible through accurate guidelines and guidance. Wankhade stated the commitment of the JMC to maintain its current ranking and strive for the highest grade in the future. He said the JMC will continue to work diligently with a strong team spirit to achieve this goal.
