City kid to make the prestigious pitch at WB Summit

In a remarkable achievement that has made the city proud, Krish Yadav, a Std XII student of MKH Sancheti Public School, has been invited by the World Bank Youth Summit at the WB headquarters in Washington DC, USA.
After a rigorous selection process that involved over 1,300 proposals from more than 125 countries, Krish has become one of world’s six finalists, and the only one from entire south Asia to get the high profile invite. Krish Yadav, with his curiosity and passion, has already proposed notable solutions in various fields, ranging from environment conservation to community development. His dedication and commitment to global welfare have earned him recognition both nationally and internationally.
He has been a prodigy who has worked on Computer Science topics ranging from cyber security to AI, from Game development to Quantum computing, etc, and has got awards from numerous tech giants such as Microsoft, Google, IBM, Intel, and others. Sulakshana Yadav, mother of Krish, herself a Computer Science Engineer, an alumnus of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) told ‘The Hitavada’, “The World Bank Youth Summit is completing 10 years of its existence. It’s mission has been to: Empower youth to explore innovative ideas tackling development challenges; provide youth with tools to build and engage in impactful development projects; and promote dialogue among youth, the WBG, and other key stakeholders globally.”
Last year, Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects of Krish and his younger brother Yash, were selected for showcasing their work at UNESCO event in New Delhi. Krish presented ‘BhashaX Code Summariser’, and Yash showcased AI Infant Monitoring System. Krish's selection as a finalist not only underscores his individual achievements but also reflects the global recognition of India's youth potential. The opening remarks would be delivered by the President of World bank. Krish would also be interacting with senior officials of the World Bank, IMF, United Nations.
