to emerge girls doubles champions of the
18th Ramesh Desai Memorial Under-16
Tennis Championship organised by
Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis
Association (MSLTA) and Kolhapur
District Tennis Association (KDLTA) at
KDLTA Tennis Complex, in Kolhapur.
In an all Maharashtra girls doubles final,
second seeded Sejal and Nanika upset top
seeds Aakruti and Aishwarya 6-3, 6-4 toemerge champions.
Earlier in the semis, the Maharashtrapair of Sejal and Nanika ousted third seedpair of Arzan Khorakiwala of Karnatakaand Yashika Shokeen of Delhi 6-3, 6-4.
The prizes were distributed at the handsof Sanjay Patil of DY Patil Institute, SharadKannamwar, Life President, MSLTA; JointSecretary of All India Tennis Association(AITA) and Secretary MSLTA Sunder Iyerand MSLTA Joint Secretary SheetalBhosale. Vaishali Shekatkar wasTournament Supervisor.
