Amid ongoing indefinite strike started by the doctors of all the Government hospitals across the State, Divisional Commissioner Abhay Verma and Collector Saurabh Kumar Suman visited Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College and Hospital to assess scenario at OPD on Wednesday. They also visited Pediatric Department and sought details from the concerned officers about healthcare services imparted during emergency.

The administrative officers also called a meeting of the doctors and instructed to continue emergency services in the patients’ interest. The Divisional Commissioner was accompanied by Chief Medical and Health Officer, Dr. Sanjay Mishra, Dean, NSCBMCH, Dr. Gita Guin and other concerned doctors during the visit.
