DKM teams in semi-finals

THE boys and girls teams of Dharmpeth Krida Mandal made it to the semi-finals of the ongoing Youth District Basketball Championship at NBYS courts in Bajaj Nagar, on Saturday.
DKM boys recorded a one-sided win over United Basketball Association (UBA) 69-5 with fine performances from Neil Dhargawe (18) and Prathamesh Diwedi (14). Meehira Dhote (27) was unstoppable and was well-assisted by Nandini Chandak (10) as DKM girls thumped Saraswati Kanya Sangh (SKS) 51-22. SNG, UBA and NBYS girls also entered semi-finals with wins. Other matches were in progress at the time of filing of report.
