Ex-CM Digvijay Singh assures Old Pension Scheme will be reinstated once Cong forms govt in State

Senior Congress leader and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Digvijay Singh has declared that the Old Pension Scheme will be reinstated once Congress forms Government in Madhya Pradesh as former CM, Kamal Nath has already assured ending National Pension Scheme to provide financial security to employees after their retirement. He also backed the demand of cancelling new labour laws for strengthening the trade unions in the country.
Former Chief Minister, Digvijay Singh was addressing the 241st Executive Committee Meeting of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) at Geetayan Auditorium, on Sunday. Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Vivek Tankha was special guest while RD Tripathi, State President, INTUC presided over the programme. Addressing the meeting, Digvijay Singh further appealed the senior leaders of INTUC for strengthening the organization by making district level units and providing membership to youngsters for strongly pressing the demand of workers.
In his address, RD Tripathi extended appeal towards senior Congress leaders for including the demands of INTUC in its election manifesto for stopping the changes in Labour Laws, reintroducing Old Pension Scheme and stopping corporatization of Ordnance Factories.] Addressing the programme, Digvijay Singh assured for fulfilling the demands of INTUC after forming Congress Governments in Madhya Pradesh and the Centre. The programme was also addressed by INTUC State Secretary, Arun Dubey, Kripashankar Verma, Ramraj Tiwari, Jai Murty Mishra, Alok Sharma, SP Mishra, Pravesh Mishra and Congress leaders, Alok Mishra and Abhishek Choukse. The programme was successfully orgnaised with valuable contribution from Amit Choube, Jijo Jacob, Mukesh Kumar, Mohammed Naseem, Rohit Prakash, Jeevan Singh, Rahul Choube, Mukesh Pandey, Anil Gupta and others.
