National Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party, Pankaja Munde while addressing the Social Media Influencers Meet said social media has emerged as a transformative force, capable of broadcasting information to the masses within a matter of minutes. She said in an age where time is a precious commodity, social media has become the most vital aspect of modern society. With nearly everyone carrying a smartphone, accessing information through various social media platforms has become the norm, he added. During the meet, Munde stressed that while social media promotes positivity, there are individuals who exploit its power to spread negativity at an alarming rate. Comment sections often become breeding grounds for debates and disputes. One could argue that social media has become a battleground where conflicts are fought without physical weapons.
