Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University has announced the admission schedule for first year degree courses. The registration process for degree-level courses or non-professional courses for the year 2023-24 will start on Thursday, June 15. Those who wish to take admission in the first year of degree (UG) level courses in non-professional colleges affiliated to RTMNU must first get themselves registered. Information regarding this will be updated on the university’s website. The registration process will continue till July 3 on the University website ‘www.nagpuruniversity.ac.in’. Students who have uploaded all the documents for registration should submit a print-out of the copy of registration along with the admission application at the college where they are seeking admission. This application for admission has to be subitted between June 15, 2023 and July 5, 2023.

 

Colleges will prepare merit lists for the admission process and upload documents after registering on the web portal. Students will not be considered eligible for admission to colleges if they fail to ensure that they have registered themselves and uploaded all the documents within the stipulated time. From Monday, June 12, propectus have been made available for sale in colleges. After registering the students, and accepting admission applications of students in respective colleges till July 5, colleges will publish the merit list and waiting list on July 8. Admissions will be confirmed between July 10 and July 15 as per merit list. After that the admissions as per the waiting list will be completed from July 17 to July10. The counselling and spot admission process, if required, will be carried out till August 7, 2023.

 

Students should first ensure whether the colleges in which they are taking admissions are affiliated to RTMNU or not. The list of affiliated colleges has been published on the website of the university. Students should not take admission to the colleges which are not affiliated to RTMNU. Similarly, students will not be registered in the same branch twice, cautioned Registrar Dr Raju Hiwase, Deputy Registrar Dr Raman Madne.
