Rs 1,000 paid to 98.51 per cent sisters, says CM Chouhan

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Chief Minister Ladli Bahna Yojana and Chief Minister Farmers Interest Waiver Scheme are wonderful. Better work has been done in the implementation of these schemes. Ministers, MLAs, public representatives and officers and employees of the district administration deserve congratulations for this. Chief Minister Chouhan said that 1,18,22,624 sisters have been successfully paid so far under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana, whose percentage is 98.51. Chouhan instructed the officers to take co-operation from the public representatives to help the sisters whose funds are not being transferred under Ladli Bahna Yojana. He was reviewing Chief Minister Ladli Bahna Yojana and Chief Minister Farmer Interest Waiver Scheme at the residence office Samatva Bhavan. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary (Agriculture) Ashok Varnwal, Principal Secretary (Co-operative) Umakant Umrao, Principal Secretary (Science and Technology) Nikunj Srivastava and officers of related departments were present in the meeting.
 
Payment will be made soon in the accounts of remaining sisters: In the meeting, Chief Minister instructed to make all necessary efforts promptly to get the money transferred to the accounts of the remaining sisters after the transfer of funds under Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana. He said that necessary information should be provided to the one lakh 78,891 sisters who have not received the amount in their account so that payment can be made in their account. Chouhan said that Mayor, Jila Panchayat and Janpad Adhyaksh, Sarpanch and all public representatives should take co-operation in Aadhaar seeding work. Along with the public representatives, go to the banks and provide necessary help in updating the account data, so that the amount of the scheme can reach. It was told in the meeting that the payment orders of 1.07 lakh beneficiary sisters, who were DBT activated between June 10 and June 14, have been processed on June 15. Action being taken to resolve the failed payment cases: All sisters are being informed through SMSes about failure of payment. Reasons for failure and suggestions for their redressal are also being sent through messages. The reason and solution for failure of payment of each Ladli Behna at district and local body level is being displayed. After redressal from the district level, information about payment to dear sisters will be given through the portal.
 
Fertiliser-seed will be available at zero percent interest rate: Chief Minister Chouhan said that after depositing the amount in the account of the defaulter farmers under the farmers Interest Waiver Scheme, now those farmers can get fertilisers and seeds at zero percent interest rate. He said that under the Mukhyamantri Kisan-Kalyan Yojana, farmers will now be given Rs 6,000 instead of Rs 4,000. Every year an amount of two thousand rupees will be deposited in three installments. On May 9, the Farmers Interest Waiver Scheme was approved by the Council of Ministers. In the event of March 31, there is a provision to waive the interest amount of short term and medium term converted loan along with interest of Rs 2 lakh on defaulter farmers. In the scheme, the outstanding interest amount of about Rs 2,123 crore has been waived on 11.19 lakh defaulter farmers.
