IMT Nagpur commences new batch of students

 

 

IMT Nagpur commenced new batch of students for the academic sessions 2023-25 recently. The inaugural ceremony of batch 2023-25 began by welcoming the guest of honour Rajneesh Jain, CFO, Reliance Jio, and the chief guest V K Bansal, Chairman, Morgan Stanley (Investment Banking). It was followed by a rendition of Saraswati Vandana by Isha Tayde and lighting of the lamp by Dr Bigyan Verma, Director IMT Nagpur; Dr P Janaki Ramudu, Dean (Academics); Dr Shyam S, Program Chairperson, Dr Sayan Banerjee Admission Chairperson and other dignitaries. On the occasion, Jain, shared his profound learnings of over two decades from working in Reliance Group and the launch of Reliance Jio. He talked about transforming business models in today’s world, how Reliance is bringing a digital revolution in India.

 

Bansal, stressed the importance and need for soft skills in the recent scenario of the fintech rise. He said that the upcoming 10 years are a crucial phase for India and that student managers must be ready to explore the immense opportunities that the country is going to receive. The ceremony concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Dean Dr P Janaki Ramudu, (Academics). The student managers look forward to interacting with prominent speakers from the industry and a year full of insightful learning from the esteemed faculty members of IMT Nagpur.
