As the matter of forceful religious conversions is surfacing in the State, Bharatiya Janata Party State unit has intensified verbal attack on Opposition Congress. Accusing Congress over the incident of tying a leash around youth’s neck and asking him to bark like a dog by culprits at the State Capital, BJP State Unit Spokesperson, Pankaj Chaturvedi has said, Why Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh silent are? Their silence is an eloquent testimony to the forceful religious conversion practices by some people. Chaturvedi has thanked the State Government for taking action against the youths who were using coercion to the Hindu youth for conversion. Police arrested three persons and the local administration in Bhopal has demolished portions of their accused’s homes.

 

He said that when the inhuman incident of forceful religious conversion came to the fore, the Shivraj government acted promptly and took strict action against the culprits along with imposing Rasuka, the encroachments of their houses were destroyed. The action taken by the government is being appreciated across the country, on the other hand, Kamal Nath, Digvijay Singh and the entire Congress have failed to speak a single word over this incident. Asking questions to the Congress leaders, Chaturvedi said that why Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh and the Congress are silent on the incident of Bhopal, who misrepresented the Government’s action on the Ganga Jamna School in Damoh? it is an evidence of Congress’ politics of appeasement. Pankaj Chaturvedi said that it is a matter of great shame that the Congress is opposing the NSA action on the culprits on this incident, opposing the action taken on their houses and terming the criminals as innocent, calling this act as ignorance.

 

While we all have seen how a Hindu youth was abused like animals by putting animal leash around his neck and that youth was forced to convert and eat beef. He said that the state government took immediate effective action within 4 hours after getting information about the incident. Those anti-national forces who do not like the honour, respect, self-respect and pride of Maa Bharti, do not want to see India become a world guru. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi goes abroad and says that minorities are not safe in India. Rahul Gandhi who sees Muslim League as a secular party, similarly Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh stand in favour of conversion for appeasement politics, he added.
