After Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Balaghat got cancelled, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan addressed the gathering at Balaghat and inaugurated ‘Gaurav Yatra’. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is earning accolades from all nations, world leaders for his work and policies. India is transforming into a powerful nation. He informed that meritorious students will be given money in place of laptop and e-scooty would also be given to students.

 

Ladli Bahna Yojana beneficiaries are getting money in their account. State BJP President VD Sharma while addressing the gathering said that earlier the Congress Government had created a world of anarchy, corruption in the state an, people were deprived of electricity supply, proper roads. Hence, BJP came to power. In last one-and-a half year of governance, the Congress party closed many welfare schemes of BJP Government.

 

The Chief Minister arrived at Old Hanuman temple and offered prayers. Grand preparations and elaborate security arrangements were made in view of first visit to Union Minister Amit Shah to Balaghat. Due to strong winds, poster, were blown away at the venue. The sky was overcast and it rained also but the huge gathering remained seated in a hope of Union Minister Amit Shah’s arrival. Then they were informed about cancellation of visit of Union Home Minister owing to bad weather.
