RISHIKA Bodele, a member of Aqua Sports Club, has been selected to represent India at the World University Games scheduled to be held at Chengdu, China from July 28 to August 8. Rishika is only the second swimmer from Nagpur to represent India in World University Games in individual events. Rishika came up with excellent performance at the World University trials held at Bengaluru and got selected to represent India in the events mentioned below.
 
Rishika, representing Jain University, Bengaluru will be participating in two events — 50m and 100m breaststroke. Rishika is consistent with her performance for last five years and represented Maharashtra regularly at national level. Earlier, Rishika won two gold medals and a silver for Jain University, Bengaluru at the Khelo India University Aquatic Championship. She is the regular member of Aqua Sports Club and takes swimming training under able Guidance of Dr Pravin Lamkhade (NSNIS, Patiala) and ASCA Level 5 Coach Vishal Chandurkar (Florida, USA). Rishika was congratulated by club president Mohan Nahatkar and secretary Mangesh Gadre, Director of Midland Sports Prashant Ugemuge, Vice-President (Operations) Preeti Lanjekar, Manager (Operations) Ashwin Janbandhu and her parents.
