Gautam Nagar police have arrested two drug peddlers and seized 16 kg ganja from their possession. They had reached Bhopal from a bus from Nagpur on Saturday, said police. Cops had received a tip-off about the accused and teams were searching for them in all possible locations. A team of police nabbed them while they were heading towards Sharda Nagar from bus stand, on foot. Police said the accused told that they reached Bhopal from Nagpur in a bus. They had brought ganja from Visakhapatnam, said police.

Both the accused are habitual offenders and had earlier also been booked on similar charges. SHO Jaheer Khan said

the accused were identified as Narendra Singh (20) and Kalyan Singh (19). They were produced in the court and now cops are trying to search their network. Khan said the seized ganja is worth above Rs 2 lakh in the market.
