Vande Bharat Express train was welcomed by public representatives at Narmadapuram, Piparia, Gadarwara, Shreedham, Obedullaganj and other few stations on Tuesday. School students, ex-employees of Central Government, Railway employees travelled in the train. The train was flagged off by PM Narendra Modi at 10:58 am. The train took speed of 100 kmph within 4 minutes and after six minutes, it caught the speed of 130 kmph. The train reached at Obedullaganj station at 11:18 hours where food items for school students and other passengers were provided in the train.
 
When the train reached in Ghat section under Budhni region, its speed was reduced to 75 kmph. Passengers were delighted to click the videos and photos of Ghat section as it looks scenic beauty during rainy season. People welcomed the train at Narmadapuram with lots of drum beats and flowers. MLA Dr Sita Sharan Sharma was present at the station for welcoming the train. Student Falguni from Bhopal school presented Vande Mataram song before the Prime Minister. Class X student Pravalika Pande from Sagar Public School, Bhopal interacted with the Prime Minister and sought queries related to inspiration for writing exam warrior book. PM Modi told to Pravalika that he wrote book on his experience and asked whether she wants to be a journalist? Pravalika said that she wish to join NDA. There were 156 students travelled in two Vande Bharat Express train till Itarsi.
