The Shahi Savari Yatra of Lord Gupteshwar Mahadev was taken out in the city with great religious fervor and enthusiasm, on Monday. Lord Gupteshwar Mahadev embarked on a city tour to bless his devotees, on the second Monday of the on-going sacred Savan month. The procession was started from Gupteshwar Temple at 10 am and concluded at Miloniganj Ramleela Maidan, passing through Shakti Nagar Chowk, Kripal Chowk, Hathital, Hitkarini School, Angadh Mahavir Temple, Adi Shankaracharya Chowk, Shastri Bridge, Bus Stand, Ganjipura and Bada Fuhara. Devotees also performed a grand Mahaaarti of Lord Gupteshwar at Adi Shaktinagar Chowk.
Gupteshwar Peethadheeshwar Dr Swami Mukunddas Ji Maharaj who led the devotees and people from all sections of the society who participated in the Yatra said when responsibility of entire universe rests in hands of the Supreme God Mahadev, he himself in his physical or non-physical form personally undertakes the city tour to observe the joys and sorrows of his devotees and bestows them with blessings of happiness, peace and prosperity. Swami ji said, Shahi Savari of Lord Gupteshwar Mahadev conducted with religious fervor alike grandeur of Mahakal procession in Ujjain. He said the royal journey has been taken out for the last 13 years and become an integral part of Gupteshwar temple's identity.
