NSSCDCL gets new CEO, NMC gets Addl Commissioner

 

 

 

Maharashtra Government on Friday carried out yet another reshuffle of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers wherein two officers were posted to vacant positions in city, including CEO, Nagpur Smart and Sustainable City Development Corporation and Additional Commissioner, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC). Prithviraj B P, an officer of 2014 batch, and currently, Collector, Latur, has been posted as Chief Executive Officer, NSSCDCL. He will take over from Abhijeet Chaudhary, Municipal Commissioner and Administrator, who is handling the additional charge of CEO, NSSCDCL. Similarly, Aanchal Goyal, an officer of 2014 batch, is going to join NMC as Additional Municipal Commissioner. She is currently working as Collector, Parbhani. NMC has two posts of Additional Commissioners and both are vacant at present after the incumbent Ram Joshi superannuated while Ajay Gulhane was transferred to MGNREGS Commissionerate.

 

As against the two vacancies, only one is filled by State Government. Similarly, new Collectors have been posted at Akola, Yavatmal, Amravati and Washim Districts in Vidarbha Region. Also, Zilla Parishads of Yavatmal, Gadchiroli, Akola and Washim have also got new Chief Executive Officers (CEOs). Ajit Kumbhar, officer of 2015 of IAS, and currently Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, is going to be new Collector at Akola. He replaces Nima Arora, an officer of 2014 batch, who is as Director, Information Technology, Mumbai. She was at the helm of Akola district for nearly two-years.

 

At Amravati, Saurabh Katiyar, an officer of 2016 batch, will take over the charge of Collector. He is currently posted as Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Akola. He is replacing Pavneet Kaur, an officer of 2014 batch who is proceeding as Director, GSDA, Pune. Thereafter at Yavatmal, Dr Pankaj Ashiya, an officer of 2016 batch, is posted as the District Collector. He will take over from Amol Jagannath Yedge, an officer of 2014 batch, who is going to join at Maharashtra State Council of Educational Research and Training (MSCERT), Pune. Meanwhile, Buveneswari S, an officer of 2015 batch, has been posted as Collector at Washim. S Shanmugarajan S, an officer of 2013 batch, presently Collector, Washim, has been posted as Additional Development Commissioner (Industries), Mumbai. Also, Dr Mainak Ghosh, an officer of 2019 batch, and currently Project Officer, ITDP, Gadchiroli -cum-Assistant Collector, Gadchiroli, has been posted as Chief Executive Officer, Yavatmal Zilla Parishad. Dr Mainak Ghosh, an officer of 2019 batch, and presently Project Officer, ITDP, Gadchiroli -cum-Assistant Collector, Gadchiroli, has been posted as Chief Executive Officer, Yavatmal Zilla Parishad. Also Vaishnavi B, and officer of 2019 batch, has been posted as Chief Executive Officer, Akola Zilla Parishad. He is presently Assistant Collector, Tumsar Sub Division, Bhandara. At the same time, Ayushi Singh, an officer of 2019 batch, Project Officer-cum-Assistant Collector, Jawahar, ITDP, Palghar, is going to join as Chief Executive Officer, at Gadchiroli Zilla Parishad. All the officers of 2019 batch have completed their training period post joining the service and this is going to their first independent charge. They succeeded Dr Shrikrishnanath Panchal, who is posted as Collector, Jalna, Kumar Ashirwad, also of 2016 batch, proceeds to Solapur as Collector; Saurabh Katiyar is posted to Amravati, and Kumar Ashirwad as Collector, Solapur. All the officers are from 2016 batch and post training they completed their first independent charge as CEOs at respective Zilla Parishad and now entrusted higher grade as Collectors.

 

The other transfers from Vidarbha are that of officers of 2019 batch of IAS and they include Ankit, Project Officer-cum-Assistant Collector Aheri, Gadchiroli, and he is proceeding as s Chief Executive Officer, Jalgaon Zilla Parishad; Shubham Gupta, Project Officer-cum-Assistant Collector Attapali SDO, PO. Bharmragad, ITDP, Gadchiroli, goes as Chief Executive Officer, Dhule Zilla Parishad; Sawan Kumar, Project Officer-cum-Assistant Collector, Dharni, ITDP, Amravati, has been posted as Chief Executive Officer, Nandurbar Zilla Parishad; Anmol Sagar, Assistant Collector, Deori Sub Division, Gondia, has been posted as Chief Executive Officer, Latur Zilla Parishad. As to Vaibhav Dasu Waghmare, an officer of 2019 batch, has been posted as Project Officer-cum-Assistant Collector, Aheri, Gadchiroli.
