Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police (Jabalpur), R R Singh Parihar conducted annual inspection of police parade at police lines parade ground, on Tuesday. DIG, R R Singh Parihar took guard of honour from police parade led by Reserve Inspector, Jai Prakash Arya. DIG, Parihar inspected the parade and honoured the employees for good turnout. DIG honoured the police employees with rewards for their good turnout. Thereafter, full fledged Balwa Drill of riot control was carried out by the police. Police tried to control the agitated mob through Vajra Vehicle and fired tear gas shells to disperse the crowd. DIG conducted inspection of police stations’ mobile vehicles and reached at Police Line Office where Quarter Guard, Commander Subedar Ashwani Patel gave him guard of honour.
 
The inspection was followed by Police Darbar in which DIG, R R Singh Parihar heard the problems of police officers and employees at police line premises. Hearing the problems of police employees, DIG Parihar directed the dealing clerks for solving the problems of employees on priority basis and forwarding him the report. Speaking on the occasion, DIG, R R Singh Parihar applauded the working of police in maintaining law and order arrangements amidst adverse circumstances. He encouraged the policemen for being committed for rendering best services to the society. He advised the police officers and personnel to make themselves physical fit for avoiding diseases and imparting their best services to the society.
 
He directed the officers and employees for remaining polite while interacting with common public and perform their duties with complete honesty for developing faith of police department amongst public. On the occasion, Superintendent of Police, Tushar Kant Vidyarthi, ASP (City), Priyanka Shukla ASP (City South), Sanjay Kumar Agrawal, ASP (Crime), Summer Verma, ASP (North/Traffic), Pradeep Kumar Shende, ASP (Rural), Shivesh Singh Baghel, all the gazetted officers and total 174 police officers and employees were present.
