In the girls 46-49 kg group, Savli was just too good for her Aurangabad opponent Namasvi Ambore getting a 5-0 verdict in her favour. She is a major contender for a gold medal.

She will take on Akola’s Suhani Borde who was all over her Aurangabad rival Sanskriti Wagh in 5-0 rout. Other players including Nagpur district’s Samiksha Singh, Shraddha Nandanwar and Zubiya Khan and city’s Pooja Channe were handed defeats by their respective opponents.
