Continuing the series of development works to facilitate the passengers with development of advanced rail facilities, three new lifts were inaugurated at Madan Mahal Railway Station, on the other day. The lifts were inaugurated at the hands of Member of Parliament Rakesh Singh in special presence of Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Sumitra Valmik.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Rakesh Singh said that several development works are underway for providing advanced services to the passengers at Madan Mahal Railway Station. The Government has sanctioned the budget of Rs 140 crore for providing necessary facilities especially for women, disable and elderly persons. He added that the installation of escalator is also proposed at Madan Mahal Railway Station for advancement of facilities. MP Sumitra Valmik applauded the working of Railway for development of desired facilities for passengers.
Earlier, Senior DCM, Vivek Ranjan welcomed the guests and informed that the stoppage of total 37 trains including MEMU trains has been given at Madan Mahal Railway Station. Facilities are being developed at Madan Mahal Railway Station pointing out the increasing footfall of passengers. On the occasion, SDEE, Sanjay Manoria, Divisional Engineer, PK Shrivastava, DCM, Nitesh Kumar Sone, Station Manager, Aarti Ydav and Deputy Station Manager (Commercial), Shweta Uike and others were present.
