The students of Robotics and Aviation Club (RAC) of Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM) Nagpur brought laurels to the city of Nagpur by bagging first prize in the Radio-Controlled Air Craft (RC Craft) Challenge during TECHNOXIAN World Cup 2023. This was the seventh edition of world’s largest robotic championship is an international event and was organised by All India Council for Robotics and Automation (AICRA) in Noida, Delhi from July 25 to 27, 2023.
 
The competition, which attracted the brightest minds from across the globe, showcased cutting-edge robotic technologies and creative problem solving techniques. A team consisting of Tanuj Kewalramani, Aditya Chaturmohata, Manasvini Verma and 40 more students of the club from RCOEM fiercely competed in various categories, including RC Craft, Robo Race Challenge, Fastest Line Follower, and Drone Challenge to win the prestigious first prize in RC Craft Challenge amidst tough competition.
 
The international teams from countries like Oman, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Australia, Nepal, Brazil and Bangladesh had participated in the competition. Prof In-charge of Robotics & Aviation Club of RCOEM, Nagpur, Dr Alok Jha guided the students throughout the preparation for the competition.
