State President of BSP Ramakant Pippal said, “Today, on the occasion of World Tribal Day, there is a protest against injustice and atrocities against the tribal people and other oppressed classes. The BJP has been ruling Madhya Pradesh for 18 consecutive years. Injustice and atrocities are being committed on tribals, dalits, backward and minorities. In the event, referring to the incidents of oppression of tribals and dalits across the State, Rajya Sabha MP Ramji Gautam attacked Shivraj Government and claimed that in the upcoming Assembly election, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will throw BJP out of power.

After Gautam, Akash Anand arrived to address party workers. Akash finished his speech within two minutes and asked party supporters to gherao Raj Bhavan. After this, he along with the BSP workers, marched towards the Raj Bhavan. However, police personnel stopped everyone by placing barricades near TT Nagar Teenshed. BSP workers raised slogans here.
