Sana Khan missing case: Marriage, dispute, missing...?

The missing case of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sana Khan, also known as Heena Khan, took a new turn on Wednesday. New information about her marriage, disputes, and conflicts continued to baffle both Nagpur and Jabalpur police. Sana, a leader of BJP’s Minority Cell, mysteriously went missing after leaving Nagpur for Jabalpur on August 1. Initial reports suggested she had departed to meet a person named Amit alias Pappu Rajjan Sahu, a suspect in the case, with whom she allegedly had a relationship. Information about her marriage emerged from a marriage certificate that went viral on the social media, claimed that Sana and Pappu had tied the knot in Jabalpur on April 24, 2023, in presence of a Magistrate. However, doubts were raised regarding the authenticity of Sana’s signature on the document, said police.

A police official said that the investigation revealed that a financial dispute had erupted between Sana and Pappu prior to her disappearance. The circumstances surrounding the alleged dispute are under scrutiny as police attempt to piece together the timeline leading up to Sana’s missing timing. Surprisingly, the cops’ response to the case has raised many questions. Both Nagpur and Jabalpur police are not making any breakthrough. The missing case was filed at Mankapur Police Station by the mother of Sana Khan. DCP (Zone III) Rahul Madne stated that Sana left Nagpur in a private bus. She contacted her mother next morning on reaching Jabalpur. It means Sana went missing after reaching Jabalpur, he added.

Acting on the missing complaint, a team from Mankapur Police Station visited Jabalpur and detained Jitendra Gaur, an employee at a ‘Dhaba’ reportedly associated with Pappu. Gaur informed the cops that he noticed blood stains while cleaning Pappu’s car. He allegedly destroyed blood-stained clothes into a drain. The chilling revelations by Gaur suggested foul play and have intensified suspicions against Pappu. A senior official of Jabalpur Police stated that the case was being investigated by the Nagpur police. “We are extending support to the police team in the case. However, we haven’t registered the case in Jabalpur,” he said.
