Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will visit Vindhya region of Madhya Pradesh to launch his party’s foray into the state that is slated to go to polls in November this year. In order to speed up the election campaign, Kejriwal will reach Rewa on August 20 and interact with the people here. Following its elevation to the status of a national party, AAP believes it is the right time to make an inroad into BJP bastion as people are getting disenchanted with the party amid various scams and allegations of corruption and also thinks the Congress is in no position to challenge the ruling party.

 

Giving information about Kejriwal’s visit to Vindhya, National Joint Secretary of AAP Pankaj Singh said that today is doubly happy day for Madhya Pradesh. Arvind Kejriwal will come to Rewa on August 20 where he will interact with general public through a programme at Town Hall. Kejriwal will also make big announcements related to MP in Rewa. AAP’s National Secretary Pankaj Singh further said that AAP will fight Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh with full force and strength.

 

Our election preparations are going on a fast pace. Now, AAP is also churning fast on selection of candidates. The process of candidate selection is also going on and soon AAP will announce names of its candidates. Party sources said that during his visit to Vindhya, Kejriwal may announce free electricity and water facilities in Madhya Pradesh on the lines of Delhi and Punjab. Apart from this, AAP can also give guarantees regarding education and health in MP.
