Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that he does not run the Government in Madhya Pradesh but runs his family. It was our dream that children of poor, lower middle class and middle class families of the State have access to best schools in the country and the world. Merit of the children of these families is not less, they get opportunities for good education in their surroundings and they can fulfill their dreams, with this purpose the State Government conceptualised CM Rise School and now its implementation is going on in the entire State.
No stone is being left unturned in implementation of New Education Policy implemented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the State. Be it school education, college level or getting education abroad or facing competitive exams, the State Government is with students at every step.
Chief Minister Chouhan performed bhoomipujan of CM Rise Government Mahatma Gandhi Higher Secondary School building to be constructed at a cost of Rs 81.12 crore in BHEL (Barkheda) of Bhopal. Chief Minister Chouhan transferred Rs 207 crore to accounts of 4,60,000 students in a single click for taking cycles and interacted with the students. Students from all the districts of the State got connected virtually with the state level programme.
CM Rise School will have 118 classrooms, 15 labs, 2 libraries, 8 lane athlete track and Olympic size swimming pool
CM Rise Government Mahatma Gandhi Higher Secondary School of BHEL Barkheda, will be constructed at a cost of Rs 81.12 crore. There will be a total of 118 classrooms in this school. These include 16 Kinder Garden classrooms, 24 pre-primary classrooms, 16 primary classrooms, 24 middle school classrooms, 38 senior school classrooms.
Along with this, there will be two labs for primary classes, three labs related to science and computers for middle school, 11 labs focused on biology, physics, chemistry, vocational and computers for senior school, thus there will be a total of 15 labs. The school has 450 seater auditorium, two libraries, two rooms for dance and music, 300-seater dining hall, canteen, multipurpose hall for indoor sports like basketball and badminton, 400 meter 8 lane athlete track, football ground and half Olympic size swimming pool. There will be a pool.
Chouhan welcomed the students attending the programme by showering flowers and after Kanya Pujan, inaugurated the programme with lighting of lamp and Saraswati Vandana in front of the statue of Goddess Saraswati.

Education Inder Singh Parmar, Govindpura MLA Krishna Gaur, Principal Secretary School Education Rashmi Arun Shami and other public representatives were present in the programme.
Chouhan also hummed the song “Bachche mann ke sachche, saari jag ke aankh ke taare, ye woh nanhe phool hai jo, Bhagwan ko lagte pyare” along with the students. He expressed his affection by saying “I love you” and said that I am most happy among my nephews and nieces. Good education is the basis to move ahead in life: Chief Minister Chouhan said that good education is the basis of moving ahead in life. There was a time when there were no buildings for schools in the State. Our Government has been committed from the very beginning to provide better schools. As a result of this, buildings of primary, secondary, high secondary and higher secondary schools were constructed in the State in a systematic manner. CM Rise School was planned in consultation with subject experts and educationists during Covid period. As a result of this scheme, bhoomipujan is being performed for CM Rise Government Mahatma Gandhi Higher Secondary School located at BHEL Barkheda. All the CM Rise schools to be constructed in the State will have arrangements for smart classes, library, laboratory, playground, sports facilities as well as swimming pool.
Our government is determined to provide the best education facilities to the children of poor families. Every opportunity will be available to the children of these families to move forward. 4,500 released per student for cycle: Chief Minister Chouhan said that we can move forward in every situation on the strength of our talent. The State Government has made arrangements to provide mid-day meal to students, cycles for boys and girls to go to school, laptops on securing 75 per cent marks in class XII. It is a help as well as an encouragement for students. Today, amount has been released in accounts of 4,60,000 students for cycles at the rate of Rs 4,500 per student. With this amount, students can buy a cycle of their choice. This will make their commuting to and from school easier and give them more time to study. In this sequence, students who have come first in class XII in their respective schools will be provided with the amount for Scooty on 23rd of this month.
