Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is scheduled to arrive in the city on August 25. During the visit, Chief Minister Chouhan will address programmes in Sihora and Jabalpur. To ensure smooth organization of the events, Collector Saurabh Kumar Suman inspected the venues of the scheduled programmes on Saturday. He reviewed various arrangements at the programme sites including seating arrangements, stage setup, barricades, parking, lighting, security measures, functional restrooms, water supply arrangements, floral decorations and arrangements for the ceremonial worship of young girls (kanya pujan), among others.

 

Those also present on the occasion were former MLA Sharad Jain, BJP City President, Prabhat Sahu, Superintendent of Police T K Vidyarthi, Municipal Commissioner Swapnil Wankhade, and senior officials of concerned departments.
