Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan the government fulfill the demand of people. Schemes like Ladli Behna Yojana is a mission to transform lives of women. Chief Minister Chouhan was interacting with villagers after dedicating construction works worth Rs 67.63 crore and performing bhoomipujan of works worth Rs 63.49 crore along with dedicating Ram-Laxman Setu which connects Chota Cheepaner to Bada Cheepaner of Sehore district. He also gavecompassionateappointment orders to 7 dependants. Agriculture Development and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Kamal Patel and other public representatives were also present.
 
Chief Minister Chouhan said that his mission is to change the lives of the people. His life has become fruitful only by working for the welfare of people. What has never been done anywhere in the world for the welfare of women has happened in the form of Ladli Bahna Yojana, in Madhya Pradesh. He told the women that the amount of Rs 1,000 is not just money, it is a symbol of respect and dignity of women in society and family. He has seen the helplessness of his sisters. I will hike the amount of Rs one thousand of the scheme to Rs 3000 per month. He asked the women to join the Raksha-Bandhan programme to be held on 27th. Chief Minister Chouhan said that those poverty-stricken people whose names were not included in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Awas Plus need not worry. No one will be deprived of a pucca house in the state, those who are landless and those have kutcha houses will be given pucca houses.
 
Chief Minister said that pressure pipes would be laid in nearby villages including Chhipaner for irrigation and additional funds would be sanctioned. He said that whether it is for drinking or irrigation, water will be supplied to houses and fields by offering prayers to Maa Narmada. He said that no government buys moong on the support price, but he has bought it at Rs 7,200 per quintal. He told the farmers that they should not worry, as now we have deposited the interest amount of Rs 2200 crores on farmers’ loans. He said that an amount of Rs 6,000 each from the Prime Minister’s Samman Nidhi and the Chief Minister’s Kisan Kalyan Nidhi will go a long way in providing assistance to the small scale farmers. Appealing to the children to study hard, the Chief Minister said that he has recently given the amount for purchase of cycles to the children going to other schools in class 6th and 9th. Now on 23rd meritious boys and girls of class 12th will be given Scooters and Scooties respectively. He said that today there are 46 lakh Ladli Lakshmis and they are also being given scholarship from Class 6th. The government will also pay the fees for IIT, medical and other higher education of meritorious children. The Chief Minister said that running the government like a family means standing together in every joy and sorrow.
 
Our government’s resolve is development on the one hand and public welfare on the other. He also announced to increase the scope of Ayushman Yojana so that maximum citizens and families can be provided the facility of treatment. Earlier Agriculture Minister Shri Kamal Patel while expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister for inaugurating the Ram-Laxman Setu between Chhoti Cheepaner and Badi Cheepaner, that connects Harda, Sehore and Bhopal, said that this will pave the way of development. Referring to the welfare schemes for the poor of the state, he described the Chief Minister as a people’s hero. Works dedicated by Chief Minister Chouhan The works dedicated by Chief Minister Shri Chouhan include construction of a high-level bridge including access road on the Narmada river between Chhoti Chipaner and Big Chipaner at a cost of Rs. 38 crore 66 lakh 92 thousand, construction of Itarsi to Chipaner road (main district road) of 10.10 km at a cost of Rs. 16 crore 27 lakh, ghat and channel construction work in Chhipaner village at a cost of Rs.8 crore 93 lakh 80 thousand, construction work of retaining wall at Bhomda Nullah, behind Dadaji Dhuni, costing Rs. 3 crore 19 lakh. Bhoomi-pujan of works by CM Shri Chouhan Chief Minister Shri Chouhan performed bhoomi-pujan of construction work of retaining wall and approach road in Chhipaner village (near Ram Mandir) at a cost of Rs 14 crore 41 lakh, Ghat, retaining wall and approach road in Chhipaner village (Nimbark Ashram) at a cost of Rs 3 crore 16 lakh, ghat, retaining wall and CC road construction work in Ranipura at a cost of Rs 4 crore, construction of submersible bridge with access road on Kakedi river on Pipalneriya road at a cost of Rs. 4 crore 97 lakh 31 thousand, construction of submersible bridge including access road on Seep river in Dholpur village to Balagaon Marg at a cost of Rs 9 crore 99 lakh 75 thousand, Ajnal river on Manjakhedi to Bakot road at a cost of Rs 4 crore 38 lakh, construction of submersible bridge with access road on Ajnal river on Manjakhedi to Bakot road at a cost of Rs. 4 crore 38 lakh, construction of submersible bridge with access road on Sip river on Sip river on Gillor to Gorakhpur road at a cost of Rs. 6 crore 60 lakh 83 thousand.
 
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan performed bhoomi-pujan of construction work of new building in Government Unani Dispensary Cheepaner at a cost of Rs 48 lakh, Manglik Bhavan construction work at Nimbark Ashram Cheepaner at a cost of Rs 50 lakh, construction of Manglik Bhavan in Chheepaner village at a cost of Rs. 20 lakh, implementation of additional works of Chheepaner group water supply scheme at a cost of Rs. 3 crore 76 lakh 70 thousand, construction of road including 80 meter submersible bridge from Jamuniakalan to Balagaon at a cost of Rs 10 crore 8 lakh 88 thousand, construction of Gaushala in Gram Panchayat Seegaon at a cost of Rs 42 lakh, Manglik Bhawan in Gram Panchayat Sasli at a cost of Rs 20 lakh, beautification and deepening of pond in Narayanpur village of Gram Panchayat Sasli at a cost of Rs. 10 lakh and construction work of Gram Panchayat building of Sasli at a cost of Rs. 20 lakh.
