KANCHAN Vinod Kathane, a student of Nutan Bharat Vidyalaya, Abhyankar Nagar, has been selected in the Indian softball team which will take part in the Asian Softball Championship. The championship is going to be held in China.

Kanchan was selected on the basis of her excellent performance during the selection trials held at Indore. Bhartiya Vidya Prasarak Mandal Secretary Ramesh Baxi and Head Mistress Dr Vandana Badwaik helped Kanchan, a resident of Bhandara, get admission at the school.

 

Kanchan is coached by Pranay Sukhdeve. Kachan also got guidance from NMC Sports Officer and former international softball player Dr Piyush Ambulkar, Jijamata award winner Darshana Pandit, Ketan Thakre. Kanchan gives the credit of her success to Nana Patole, school headmistress Dr Badwaik, Dr Ambulkar, Ramesh Baxi and others.
