Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that he saw many examples of discrimination against sisters in different families and the society in the rural areas of the state. Taking cue from this, the Ladli Laxmi Yojana was formulated. After this many schemes were launched for women. Through these schemes, the work of women empowerment has been done successfully in the State. Continuous work is being done in this direction in Madhya Pradesh. Dedication/bhoomipujan of development works in Mandsaur district: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan attended the Kisan Sammelan in Pipliyamandi district Mandsaur during Vikas Parv. Chouhan dedicated and performed bhoomipujan of construction works worth more than Rs 1,337 crores. The Chief Minister inaugurated the Kisan Sammelan by performing kanya pujan. The Chief Minister also worshipped 126 urns brought from 126 villages for the meeting. He said that farmers’ welfare is the utmost priority of the Government in the state. Agriculture is being made a profitable business in the State. The amount of Kisan Samman Nidhi has been increased to Rs 12,000. The previous government had made the farmers’ defaulters. Our government has again started giving them loans for crops at zero percent interest by paying their interest amount.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that under the Ladli Bahna Yojana, I am not only giving money to the sisters, but also giving respect and honour to them. This amount will not remain only Rs one thousand, but it will be increased to Rs 1,250, then Rs 1,500, then Rs 1,750, then Rs 2,000, then Rs 2,250, then Rs 2,500, then Rs 2,750 and then Rs 3,000. Now women of 21 to 23 years of age and who are from families owning have also been included in this. On August 10, again an amount of Rs 1,000 will be sent to the accounts of all the women. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the daughter will not be allowed to become a burden in the State. In Ladli Laxmi Yojana, a savings certificate of Rs 30,000 is given instantly when a girl child is born. With the Ladli Bahna Yojana, sisters are becoming capable to spend the amount for the needs of the family members. The respect of sisters is also elevated. Provision has been made for 50% reservation for sisters in local bodies. In the purchase of property, only one percent stamp duty is taken from the sisters in the registration. The state government has also made a provision for 30 per cent places for women in the police force. I am the brother of sisters. Chouhan said that no person will remain homeless in the state. The previous government did not give the amount of laptops to my sons and daughters. Sambal scheme was closed. Maternity delivery assistance was also not given. Many programmes were closed. Teerth Darshan Yojana is also one of them. Now, with the resumption of the scheme, the government has started the pilgrimage by aeroplane. The State Government will pay the education fee for higher education.
CM Chouhan said that the scenario is changing due to several development works. Madhya Pradesh is transforming. CM Chouhan said that development is taking place in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. CM Chouhan said that he is running the family as a member of the family, not as the Chief Minister. I am your brother and Mama. Tendupatta collectors are being benefitted. The welfare of all classes has been ensured. The public should take a pledge to participate in development. Dhundhadka Tappa will be made Tehsil: The Chief Minister announced that Dhundhadka Tappa in Mandsaur district would be given the status of Tehsil. The remaining 31 villages will be included under the Malhargarh Irrigation Project. Chambal water will also be brought in Mandsaur assembly constituency.
