To remove In-charge District Programme Manager (DPM), National Health Mission Jabalpur, Vijay Pandey with immediate effect, the members of National Student Union of India (NSUI) handed over a memorandum to the Collector on Tuesday. The members, under the leadership of student leader Rahul Rajak, assembled at the Collectorate and demanded to remove Pandey who has been posted as In-charge DPM at the District Hospital Jabalpur for 2 years. Pandey has been posted as Data Entry Operator in the Department on the basis of fake documents which were prepared by Bilhari resident, Siraj Khan. The NSUI has all the proof to prove their points.

At the time of Pandey’s appointment, his father Gaya Prasad Pandey was posted as a clerk in the office of Regional Director. Pandey scored 11 out of 50 marks in the written test and managed 45 out of total 50 marks during interview. But as his father was posted in the Regional Director’s office, the candidate who obtained 50 out of 50 marks in written test was dropped and kept in waiting list and Pandey was appointed to the post violating the rules. The NSUI members demanded to conduct inquiry on this as all documents of Pandey were handed over with the memorandum.

Although another inquiry is still being conducted by the Regional Director Office Jabalpur to prove that Pandey took a ‘Back-Door Entry’ in the Department violating all the rules and all his documents are fake. But using his influences, Pandey is creating obstacles in the inquiry. The NSUI demanded to remove Pandey from his post with immediate effect and to constitute a high-level inquiry committee to investigate the issue. The NSUI members warned to knock the Court’s door if their demands are not fulfilled soon. Those who were present include Pawan Kanoujiya, Neelesh Mahaar, Anuj Yadav, Apoorva Kesarwani, Abhishek Dahiya and others.
