One year extension in special recruitment drive for backlog/carry forward posts

Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Awas Yojana will now be known as “Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Awas Yojana”. This will be encompass the homeless eligible families of all categories. Whenever there is a rise in the cost of housing construction unit under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Rural, the unit cost will also be increased under this scheme. This decision was taken by the State Cabinet, which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The meeting was held at the Chief Minister’s residence ‘Samatva Bhawan’. Two-fold hike in monthly honorarium of cooks: The Cabinet has decided to increase the current monthly honorarium of cooks engaged in the Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Nirman Yojana, operated under the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, from the current monthly honorarium of Rs 2,000 to Rs 4,000 per month which will benefit 2,10,000 cooks. For this, in addition to the amount already allocated, Rs 294.32 crore has been approved for the remaining period of the current financial year 2023-24 and Rs 714.79 crore per year from the financial year 2024-25. Extension of special recruitment drive for backlog/carry forward posts:

The time limit of the special recruitment drive to fill the backlog/carry forward posts of scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward classes and persons with disabilities has been extended by one year from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024. Approval of hike in monthly honorarium of guest teachers: The Cabinet has approved doubling of the monthly honorarium given to guest teachers. The honorarium currently received by Class-1 has been increased from Rs 9,000 to Rs 18,000, the honorarium of Class-2 has been increased from Rs 7,000 to Rs 14,000 and the honorarium of Class-3 has been increased from Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000. Decision to implement MP Mob Lynching Victim Compensation Scheme 2023: The Cabinet has decided to implement Mob Lynching Victim Compensation Scheme 2023 Madhya Pradesh for relief and rehabilitation of the victims of mob lynching and their dependents in the State. Under this scheme, the crime of mob lynching involves causing harm to any person or persons by a mob of five or more persons on grounds of religion, caste, sex, place of birth, language, food habits, sexual orientation, political affiliation, ethnicity or other such ground or grounds or involves any act or series of acts of violence intended to cause injury. Under the scheme, a provision has been made to provide compensation to the victims of mob lynching. Approval to provide Ladli Bahnas Rs 450 for cooking gas:

In compliance with the announcement made by the Chief Minister Chouhan on August 27, a decision has been taken to provide cooking gas for Rs 450 to all women having gas connections under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and Ladli Bahanas having gas connections under non-PMUY in the month of Shravan (04.07.2023 to 31.08.2023). Subsidy will be payable on refills done in the month of Shravan on gas connections issued in the name of Ladli Bahanas. Allotment of land for educational purpose to NFSU Bhopal: The Cabinet decided to allot a total of 4.8540 hectares of government land to village Barkheda Bondar Tehsil Huzur, Bhopal to be used for educational purpose by “National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhi Nagar Bhopal under the terms and conditions of government, at no interest and Re 1 land rent. Approval for creation of 240 new posts for Government colleges: The Cabinet has approved a total expenditure of Rs 77,27,88,000, which includes the recurring expenditure burden of Rs 13.22 crore per year and other non-recurring expenditure of Rs 64,05,88,000 for the establishment of four new Government colleges including Government College Bilaspur (Umaria), Government College Bharewa (Umaria), Government College Salichauka (Narsinghpur) and Government College Rahatgaon (Harda) and for creation of a total of 240 new posts for starting new faculty/subjects in 3 government colleges including Government College Nagda (Ujjain), Government College Rajpur (Barwani), Government College Seoni Malwa (Narmadapuram. Obtaining rank in JEE Mains examination under Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana no longer mandatory: The Cabinet has abolished the obligation of students admitted in government, autonomous and aided engineering institutes of the Government of India and their universities to obtain rank in the JEE Mains examination.

Approval to upgrade Civil Hospital Kailash Nath Katju into 300-bedded Civil Hospital: The Council of Ministers has approved the creation of a total of 195 posts and recurring expenditure for upgrading the 100 bedded Civil Hospital Kailash Nath Katju of Bhopal to 300 bedded Maternal and Child Speciality Civil Hospital. Also, approval has been given for arrangement of surveillance, electric maintenance and lift operation, water supply, fire safety and plumbing, pest and animal control, parking system and washing system for doctors and paramedical staff, in addition to non-core services like cleaning and housekeeping, food arrangements, security arrangements and CCTV in the 300 bed civil hospital of Kailashnath Katju. Approval of attractive time scale/selection pay scale of doctors: The Cabinet has approved to make the currently payable time scale/selection pay scale more attractive and beneficial in order to encourage the doctors of academic and non-academic medical cadres of the medical institutions running in the state. As per approval, Assistant Professor of Medical Education in the academic cadre will get a grade pay of Rs 7,000 on appointment, Rs 8,000 on completion of three years of service, Rs 9 thousand on completion of 7 years of service and Rs 9 thousand on completion of 14 years of service. On completion of this, the benefit of grade pay of Rs 10,000 will be given.
