Bharatiya Janata Party’s first ‘Parivartan Yatra’ commenced from Bastar Division with a massive public meeting in Dantewada on Tuesday. In his speech, Chhattisgarh State President Arun Sao stated the people need to know the purpose of the ‘Parivartan Yatra’. The Congress Government is a corrupt government which came to power with lucrative promises, but not a single one was fulfilled. The progress of Bastar is grounded and the Bhupesh Baghel Government is destroying the region. The Bastar residents lack health facilities. Target killing is going. Baghel Government is cheating the Bastar by depriving people of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Everyone wants good health, houses, electricity, roads and water. Bastar youths want jobs. Only the BJP can deliver the amenities to the people. Narendra Modi is the most favourite candidate for Prime Minister in 2024. Lotus will bloom in Bastar in 2023. Time to get rid of the corrupt Congress Government, Arun Sao exhorted the people. Addressing the gathering, National Vice-President and former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh stated an important drive to uproot the misrule of the Congress Government has started with the blessing of Maa Danteshwari. The change is certain with the blessing of the Goddess and people.

 

The Congress Government only did scams from coal to DMF and rice scams. A Congress MLA Mohan Markam has alleged of DMF scam. Some teething issues of Bastar like salt, which was so rare that it became a source of exploitation. BJP gave free salt to save the esteem of Bastar. The tribal people of Bastar used to face death by starvation and had to migrate, but the BJP Government solved this issue with Rs 1 kg rice. The rice, salt and gram schemes mitigated the migration issue in Bastar. BJP provided Rs 1280 crore bonus to tendu leaf collectors, Bhupesh Baghel government closed the scheme. The scheme of providing footwear to Tendu leaf collectors and many such schemes, which BJP started, has been shut down by the Congress Government. Dr Singh recalled that Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave aspirational district status to Bastar to start progress. The BJP Government built roads, schools/colleges, bridges, hostels for tribal kids, an education hub in Jawanga and other infrastructures. BJP gave 32 per cent reservation to Scheduled Tribe communities. 50000 SPOs recruited by the BJP Government have now become regular police personnel. 1.20 Shikshakarmis were regularised by the BJP. Leader of Opposition Narayan Chandel stated Chhattisgarh was formed by BJP leader and former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The Chhattisgarh which BJP took care of for 15 years now has a talkative Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. He accused the Congress Government of target killing of BJP workers under Chief Minister’s watch and alleged Congress MLAs of being involved in the incident.

 

Addressing the function, MLA Brijmohan Agrawal stated the Parivartan Yatra is happening to throw out the anti-tribal Bhupesh Government which kills tribal people, harasses tribal women and exploits the tribal communities. Agrawal lashed out at the Congress Government over the liquor scam and exhorted people to give a befitting reply for tarnishing the image of Chhattisgarh. He also attacked the Congress Government on unemployment allowance, DMF scam, cow dung scam etc. MP Saroj Pandey said that the Parivartan Yatra is to change the Congress Government in Chhattisgarh. Congress party leaders came five years ago and deceived people by making lucrative promises. They deceived women the most in every field. Out of their 36 promises, not a single one is fulfilled. The Bhupesh Government is a government of lies. They say “Bhupesh Hai to Bharosa hai” but even Congress doesn’t have faith in Bhupesh. When Congress state president Mallikarjun Kharge was speaking in a recent public meeting, Congress leaders and party workers started leaving. Union Minister Renuka Singh stated the voice to change the corrupt government of Bhupesh Baghel has been given by worshipping Maa Danteshwari. We haven’t forgotten the Vidhan Sabha election of 2018. They guaranteed the welfare of the Chhattisgarhi people, but journalists across the nation say Chhattisgarh has been turned into a fort of corruption. The Central Ministry of Tribal Affairs sends funds for scholarships and education expenses of tribal children. The central Government will send funds for electrification of remote villages. It is important to the corrupt Bhupesh Government so that Chhattisgarh could join the journey of progress.
