BJP starts ‘Meri Mati, Mera Desh’ drive from house of martyr Devashish Sharma

‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign was launched on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to honour revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the honour and pride of Mother India and to keep their memory intact. This campaign started in the capital Bhopal from the house of martyr Captain Devashish Sharma. Under this campaign, party workers will go from house to house and collect a handful of soil and a handful of rice. BJP State President and MP Vishnudutt Sharma said this on Friday while inaugurating Meri Mati-Mera Desh campaign from the house of martyr Captain Devashish Sharma. VD Sharma reached the residence of martyr Captain Devashish Sharma at Shahpura on Friday under Meri Mati-Mera Desh campaign and met his mother. Sharma started the campaign by taking a handful of soil and a handful of rice in an urn from Captain Devashish Sharma’s mother.
 
On the occasion, he said that on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP has started this campaign to keep teh sacrifices of the brave martyrs alive. Today, under this campaign, I have come to the house of martyr Captain Devashish Sharma. Devashish Sharma’s mother Nirmala Sharma gave a handful of soil and rice in a Kalash. We will continue this campaign by going from door to door with a handful of soil and rice in an urn.
 
Sharma said that this campaign will continue across the country till October 31. After travelling across the country, 75,000 such urns will reach the Martyr Memorial located on Dutva Path in New Delhi. On the occasion, BJP’s State General Secretary Bhagwandas Sabnani, State Minister Rahul Kothari, MLA Rameshwar Sharma, Krishna Gaur, Central Assembly Constituency candidate Dhruvanarayan Singh, Municipal Corporation President Kishan Suryavanshi, District General Secretary Ravindra Yeti, Vikas Virani with all officials and workers were present.
