proposals for road construction were approved under Adhosanrachna and Kayakalp Yojana with a budget of Rs 46 crore and forwarded the same for Government’s nod. The proposal was approved in an important meeting of Mayor-in-Council held at Jabalpur Municipal Corporation headquarters, on Thursday. Mayor Jagat Bahadur Singh chaired the meeting. The Mayor also mentioned that approval was also granted for proposals related to flyovers, city sanitation systems, lease renewals and installation of a statue of Veer Shiromani Rupan Bari Ji near old Bus Stand.

 

In the meeting, approval was given for lease cases and the construction of a gate near Darshan Tiraha after Guru Nanak Dev Sahab. Mayor Singh said people of Sikh community of Ranjhi area had requested him for construction of a gate resembling Dashmesh Dwar, bearing the name of Guru Nanak Dev Sahab, in Ranjhi. He said the M-i-C has approved construction of gate at Darshan crossing. All M-i-C members along with senior officials participated in the meeting.
