Rahul Karad is a prominent figure in the field of education and social activism. As the President of MIT World Peace University, he has been instrumental in promoting peace and harmony through education. One of Rahul Karad’s notable achievements is the establishment of the Students Parliament, which provides a platform for young minds to voice their opinions and contribute to the development of society. In addition to the Students Parliament, Karad also founded the Women’s Parliament, which aims to empower women and promote gender equality. Karad's most significant accomplishments is the National Legislature Conference (NLC), which was held at the Jio Convention Centre in Mumbai from 14th June to 17th June 2023.

This conference marked a historic moment as it was the first-ever gathering where more than 2000 Members of Legislative Assemblies (MLAs) and Members of Legislative Councils (MLCs) participated. In a momentous stride towards fostering collaboration and advancing legislative efficacy, the National Legislators’ Conference Bharat (NLC Bharat) emerged as a pioneering platform. This distinguished avenue provided Members of Legislative Assemblies (MLAs) and Members of Legislative Councils (MLCs) from across India with an exceptional opportunity to congregate and engage in the exchange of visionary ideas. Conceptualized and orchestrated by the convergence of past and present leadership, including Speakers of Lok Sabha and incumbent Speakers of Legislative Assemblies, the inaugural chapter of NLC Bharat unfolded in Mumbai from June 15 to 17. This historic gathering facilitated an unprecedented dialogue amongst MLAs and MLCs, transcending regional boundaries and political affiliations.
