Following the directions of Municipal Commissioner Swapnil Wankhade, Jabalpur Municipal Corporation (JMC) on Saturday organised ‘Safai Mitra Suraksha Karyashala’ for sanitation workers under Indian Cleanliness League 2.0 as a part of Swachh Survekshan 2023. Sanitation workers were provided with information on the safe cleaning of sewers and septic tanks, along with essential equipment. Likewise they were also apprised of information about various government schemes being run for their welfare.

 

Similarly, JMC with due support of IEC team and NCC cadets took out cleanliness rally and service rendering programme in division no. 8, Hanumantal. During the programme, a number of local residents actively took part in cleanliness along with NCC cadets. IEC team members urged the NCC students and citizens to pay maximum attention to cleanliness in their surroundings. Those present were Senior Major Sunil Kumar Singh, Basant Kumar Singh, AHO Sunil Gujarati, CSI Hitler Arkhel, SI Appa Rao and others.
