PRIME Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Bastar on October 3 to address a massive public meeting at Lalbagh Maidan in Jagdalpur. Preparations for his visit were inspected by BJP State In-charge Om Prakash Mathur, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, State General Secretary of the Organisation Pawan Sai and Bastar Division in-charge Santosh Pandey, who reached there via special plane. As per the information, the public meeting, to be addressed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is set to commence at 11 am on October 3 at Lalbagh Maidan. During their visit, Mathur and Mandaviya spent approximately half an hour at Lalbagh ground, closely examining the venue’s layout and discussing arrangements with local administration and police officials. They inquired about the stage set-up, seating arrangements for the public and the logistics for the event.
 
Mathur urged BJP office-bearers to expedite all preparations for the meeting. Meanwhile, Mathur and Mandaviya held a divisionlevel meeting at the BJP district office to discuss preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit. Attendees included BJP district presidents, district in-charges, assembly in-charges and state office-bearers from seven districts under the Bastar division. The meeting began with a tribute to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, on his birth anniversary. During the hour-long meeting, district leaders were instructed to make preparations for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public meeting seriously, ensure timely completion of all arrangements at the venue, and maintain a high standard of city decoration. Mathur emphasised that the Prime Minister’s visit would invigorate the people and party workers,highlighting the nation’s progress under Modi’s leadership over the past nine years.
 
Union Minister Mandaviya stated that Prime Minister Modi enjoys popularity not only in India but also worldwide. He is a leader of the nation, working with unwavering dedication to the country’s progress. His visit to Bastar is of great significance, and all preparations and publicity for the general meeting should be completed promptly to reach the general public. Prominent attendees at the meeting included BJP National Vice-President Lata Usendi, BJP Organisation General Secretary Pawan Sai, Bastar Division Incharge Santosh Pandey, BJP State General Secretary Kedar Kashyap, besides many other district level party office bearers and leaders.
