THE Investiture Ceremony of the Students Council for 2023-24 session was held at Kendriya Vidyalaya here in the presence of Swami Krishnamritananda (Aseem Maharaj), the Principal of the Model School under Ramakrishna Mission Ashram. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp before the portrait of Swami Vivekananda. Following this, the school's In-Charge Principal, Vishwanand Chandra extended a warm welcome to the chief guest by presenting him with a sapling. In his address to the gathering, In-Charge Principal Vishwanand Chandra emphasized the pivotal role today's students play in shaping the future of India. The chief guest, in his speech drew inspiration from the timeless words of Swami Vivekananda: "Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is achieved." He expressed his belief that these words would motivate the students to lead India to greater heights through their talent and dedication.
The students then showcased their discipline and unity with a splendid march past, adorned with sashes. Subsequently, the In-Charge Principal administered the oath of office to the newly appointed student council members. The proceedings were conducted jointly by school's Hindi teacher Anil Kumar Sharma and Arts teacher Rajeshwar Paikra. Entire teaching staff including Pawan Kumar, Rishabh Soni, Bajrang Lal, Satish Kumar, Shriram Vasade, Sonia, Hina, Meenakshi, Neha, Gunjan Shukla and the students were present on the occasion.
