CM transfers Rs 1576.61 crore to accounts of 1.29 crore Ladli Bahnas

Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav electronically transferred Rs 1576.61 crore to the accounts of 1.29 crore Ladli Bahnas on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. Addressing a State-level programme at Kushabhau Thakre Convention Center Bhopal here today the Chief Minister urged the beneficiary sisters to utilise the amount for well-being of their respective families. All districts participated in the programme virtually. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said that women have always been give high respect in India’s cultural traditions. No country in the world has the status of a mother. On behalf of people of the State, Prime Minister Narendra Modi deserves profound respect for initiatives ensuring women empowerment in every respect. Dr Yadav said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken historic steps for socio-economic empowerment of women. The schemes guided by the Prime Minister aim at improving the quality of life of people. Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that Makar Sankranti festival will be observed from January 10 to 15 focusing on women empowerment and youth power. Chief Minister Dr Yadav also transferred pension and financial assistance worth Rs 341 crore to more than 56 lakh beneficiaries.
 
Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said that Prime Minister Modi has emphasised on the uplift of women, farmers, youth and poor. The State Government is committed to the uplift and empowerment of them. Various schemes being implemented have paved the way for a happy and healthy life of the countrymen. Neighbouring countries are also admiring Prime Minister Modi’s vision. Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that India’s culture gives an opportunity to understand various aspects of humanity. All festivals, celebrations reflect enthusiasm. The celebration of festivals proves deep association with the nature. Makar Sankranti is also one of those festivals.
 
Women and Child Development Minister Nirmala Bhuria said that empowering women is the top priority of the state government as envisioned by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Minister Narayan Singh Kushwaha said that Makar Sankranti festival will prove important in the direction of rehabilitation of destitute and weak people from the point of view of service and public welfare. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, we are making efforts towards making the lives of people living in difficult circumstances easier. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav presented sweets and gifts to the beneficiary sisters. Principal Secretary Women and Child Development Deepali Rastogi, Principal Secretary Social Justice Sachin Singh, Commissioner Women and Child Development Dr Ram Rao Bhosle, Commissioner Social Justice E Ramesh Kumar were present.
