Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has said that Swami Vivekananda enhanced the glory of India in the world. Today, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also working to add to India’s dignity in the world. Chief Minister Dr Yadav was addressing the mass Surya Namaskar programme at Subhash Government Excellence Higher Secondary School, Shivaji Nagar, Bhopal, on Friday on the occasion of National Youth Day on Swami Vivekananda’s Jayanti. Those present in the programme were Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh, New and Renewable Energy Minister Rakesh Shukla, Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare, Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Welfare (Independent Charge) Krishna Gaur, Minister of State for Animal Husbandry and Dairy (Independent Charge) Lakhan Singh Patel, MP Pragya Singh Thakur and MLA Bhagwan Das Sabnani.
 
Chief Minister Dr Yadav and the guests present in the event collectively performed Surya Namaskar and yoga. Dr Yadav, while congratulating the masses at the Surya Namaskar programme on National Youth Day, said that the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda is celebrated as National Youth Day. Due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts, June 21 now has acquired global recognition as World Yoga Day. Prime Minister amazes with his decisions: Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India has been successful in enhancing its dignity globally. Prime Minister Modi’s life is a live inspiration to the countrymen. He makes amazing decisions. He has the knack of connecting with both the young and the old alike and with all sections of the society. Under his leadership, India is continuously progressing in the field of defence, sports and other fields. India is one of the countries that have the largest number of youth.
 
Swami Vivekananda established the importance of Indian culture and Sanatan in the world. Even in difficult times, after taking sanyasa, he studied religion and spirituality under the guidance of Swami Ramakrishna Paramahansa while pursuing education. He highlighted the characteristics of India before the world. The programme started with the national song Vande Mataram. Madhya Pradesh anthem was also presented on the occasion of collective Surya Namaskar. The programme winded up with the rendition of the national anthem. Principal Secretary School Education Rashmi Arun Shami and Commissioner Anubha Srivastava also took part in the programme.
