CHIEF MINISTER Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma and Pandaria Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Bhavana Bohra have expressed profound grief over tragic demise of three members of a Baiga family in a hut fire mishap in Nagadabara under Mathpur Gram Panchayat of Pandaria block in district Kabeerdham on Sunday night. Expressing heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the Chief Minister Sai has directed district administration officials to provide comprehensive assistance to the affected family members. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma has also conveyed his deep sorrow and after gathering information from the Superintendent of Police, he has instructed a thorough investigation into the incident. He has assured full support to the victim’s family during this difficult time. Pandaria MLA Bhavana Bohra also visited Nagadabara following the incident. She met with the bereaved family members and offered condolences. After obtaining complete information about the incident, she pledged to provide all possible assistance to the grieving family.
 
In response to Deputy Chief Minister Sharma’s directives, Collector Janmejay Mahobe and Superintendent of Police Dr Abhishek Pallav jointly reached Nagadabara, inspected the site, and gathered detailed information about the tragedy. The Collector instructed the SDM and SDOP to conduct a thorough investigation into all aspects related to the incident. Late in the evening, Collector Janmejay Mahobe and SP Dr Abhishek Pallav visited Nagadabara and met with the affected family members, expressing deep condolences. Following the Collector’s instructions, Pandaria Janpad CEO has provided assistance to the affected families under the Tribute Scheme and directed aid of Rs 20,000 under the National Family Assistance Scheme. The Collector further instructed the Kukdoor Tehsildar to register a case under RBC 6(4) based on the basis of postmortem report.
 
Forensic investigations have also been initiated on the Collector’s instructions, with an aim to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident. The heart-wrenching incident occurred as Budhram, his wife Hirmatin and their son Jonhuram Baiga lost their lives due to a house fire late last night in Nagadabara, a dependent village of Gram Panchayat Mathpur in Pandaria block. Upon receiving information about the incident, authorities from Kukdoor police station and Tehsildar, along with other administrative officials, promptly reached the scene. In a joint effort, the Collector and SP inspected the incident site later in the evening, emphasizing the seriousness with which the authorities are treating the tragic event.
