The historic Poddareshwar Ram Temple in city to has lined-up religious programme on January 22 coinciding with the consecration of Lord Ram Temple at Ayodhya. The main attraction would be Deepotsav that would mesmerise the people of city as nearly 1.5 lakh earthen lamp would be lit during evening, said Punit Poddar, Trustee, Poddareshwar Ram Temple Management Committee, while interacting with newspersons on Friday. The temple has recently completed 100-years and that time, it organised various programme. It is also known for hosting the annual Ram Janmotsav shobhayatra, a major cultural event of the city. The programme on January 22 will start at dawn with Abhishek Pujan at 5.30 am. Thereafter at 6.30 am, Shringar Aaarti is arranged, followed by abhishek at Lord Shiva Temple, housed within the Ram Temple complex.
 
Thereafter from 8 to 10.30 am, recital of Sundarkand is organised at the temple premises. From 11 am to 12.30 pm women would sing various congratulatory songs. In between, form 12 noon onwards the live telecast of inauguration of grand Shri Ram Temple at Ayodhya will be watched by the devotees. At 12.39 pm, maha aarti will be performed. The Deepotsav is from 6 to 9 pm and also performance of Panchajanya Shankh Dal is organised. The conch blowers group will performed at the historic temple. Also the organisers have invited Shiv Mudra Dhol Tasha Pathak. During the evening, the skies on Central Avenue will sparkle during the fire crackers show to celebrate the opening of Shri Ram Temple at Ayodhya. Another important programme in the evening that day is the revelation about participants of Ram Mandir andolan.
