On Fast Track: Rlys get green flag to run train at 90 kmp on Sant Hirdaram-Nishatpura route

After inspecting the 9.60 km new railway line from Sant Hirdaram Nagar-Nishatpura D cabin under Bhopal Division, the Railway Safety Commissioner (Central Circle), Mumbai, Manoj Arora has granted permission to run the train on this track at 90 kmph speed. He inspected the safety and security related resources, OHE line, related equipment, signaling system and capacity. Successful trial of train was conducted at 120 kmph of speed. During this testing diesel engine testing was done for 120 kmph. After starting the new line, commutation of goods train and passengers will become smooth from Sant Hirdaram Nagar and Nishatpura D cabin
This would also create new loop line and maintain the punctuation of trains in Bhopal and Nishatpura. Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Devashish Tripathi, West Central Railway’s Chief Administrative Officer Manoj Kumar, Chief Signaling Engineer Rakesh Kumar and other senior authorities were present during the testing.
