In a heart-warming display of spiritual fervour, the citizens are leaving no stone unturned in gearing up for the historic celebrations of the Shri Ram Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav which will be held in Ayodhya on Tuesday. The entire city donned the colours of celebration as residential colonies, housing societies, social organisations, political parties, religious groups, temple trusts, and senior citizens’ groups got ready to celebrate the consecration ceremony of Shri Ram. Flags, buntings, banners, pandals adorned every corner of the city. A series of events has been planned to celebrate the auspicious day all over the city. Each and every temple has been decorated with flowers and lightings. The decoration of Poddareshwar Ram Mandir near Ram Jhula is worth watching. Various cultural and social activities, including showcasing the scenes of Ramayan in the form of tableaux through Ramlalla Shoba Yatra, Shishu Ramlila, Sundar Kand, and blood donation camps, etc, have been planned by various groups.
Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will participate in various programmes in the city which have been organised to mark the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Shri Ram on Monday. Fadnavis will perform aarti at Shri Ram Mandir, Ram Nagar, an event which will be anchored by Shailesh Joglekar. Similarly, lighting of Shri Ram Jyoti at Laxmi Bhavan Chowk will be held at the hands of Fadnavis. Shashank Dabholkar will compere this programme. Most popular temples -- Shri Ram Temple, Ramtek; Shri Mahalaxmi Jagdamba Sansthan, Koradi; Sai Baba Mandir, Wardha Road; Ganesh Tekdi; Tekdi Hanuman Mandir -- are all set to celebrate the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ event with religious fervour. Shri Mahalaxmi Jagdamba Mandir, Koradi, has been decorated with flowers and lights for the event on Monday. Celebrity chef Vishnu Manohar will prepare 6,000 kg ‘Ram Halwa’ on Monday to be distributed during the celebrations.
The event will be held under the supervision of Chandrashekhar Bawankule, President of the trust. The cooking of the ‘Ram Halwa’ will starat 6.30 am and will conclude at 11.30 am. Thereafter, the distribution of ‘Ram Halwa’ will start at 12 noon at the entrance of Mahalaxmi Mandir to the devotees. Fadnavis will be the chief guest of the ‘Anandotsav’ that will be held at Koradi mandir on Monday.
Maharaj Bagh Road Shop Owner’s Association
Maharaj Bagh Road Shop Owner’s Association is conducting different programmes to mark the ‘Pran Pratishthan’ of Shri Ram in Ayodhya on January 22. The programmes will be held at Plot No 27, Govind Nagar, near Jaiprakash Nagar SBI. Dr Kishor Bhakre, Manish Khanna, Ramkumar Chandwani, Kishor Bhoneja, Naresh Ghanwani, Vishnu Mulani and others are working hard for the success of the event.
Sant Chanduram Sahab Muktidham, Jaripatka
The celebration of ‘Pran Pratishthan’ of Shri Ram at Ayodhya has already started at Sant Chanduram Sahab Muktidham in Jaripatka on Sunday. Saints of Muktidham delivered discourse on Ram Katha to mark the celebration. Shamanmdas Tulaswani, Bhikchand Dembla, Prakash Kewalramani, Virbhan Tulaswani, Jagguram, Murali Maharaj, Ajit Bartra, Shitaldas Kingrani, Gurmukhdas Belwani, Shankarlal Virwani, Raja Kewalramani, Lalchand Batra and others were present during the event.
Rajasthani Sena Samaj Navyuvak Mandal
Rajasthani Sena Samaj Navyuvak Mandal distributed mahaprasad at Geeta Mandir, near Cotton Market on Sunday to mark the ‘Pran Pratishthan’ of Shri Ram in Ayodhya. Sundarkand was also held on this occasion. A 51 kg laddoo was also distributed in presence of Swami Nirmalanandji Maharaj.
Shri Siddha Ram Hanuman Mandir
Akhand Ramayanpath has started at Shri Siddha Ram Hanuman Mandir in Sitabuldi on Sunday to celebrate the ‘Pran Pratishthan’ of Shri Ram at Ayodhya. A shobhayatra was also took out from mandir premises which crossed through Sitabuldi area and again conclude at mandir premises on Sunday. Other organisations like Shri Agrasen Hostel, Shri Jalaram Satsang Mandal, Vidarbha Kalakar Sangh etc. will conduct various events to mark the ‘Pran Pratishthan’ on Monday.
